Getting started with Me in 3 is simple, and we’ve made it even easier with our step-by-step Job Seeker Wizard. Our Customers are finding it takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes to setup a Me in 3 profile. The time it takes to create your video depends entirely on you.
Think back to when you created your resume. It took hours, didn’t it? Do you feel like your resume tells a whole lot about you as a person? We know it doesn’t and that’s where Me in 3 comes in. Me in 3 allows the real YOU to standout in a sea of resumes. In your video introduction you can display your personality and talk about the traits that make you uniquely you.
Everyone here at Me in 3 has, at one time or another, sifted through a long list or stack of resumes looking for the perfect candidate. There are some things that a resume just cannot express, like personality, demeanor, and soft skills. Me in 3 breaks the chains of the resume and allows our users to let their personality shine and set themselves apart from other candidates in a 3 minute or less video.

At this time, Me in 3 only supports a single video. However, Me in 3 does have plans to add this feature in the future.
Yes! We currently have a User Guide for Job Seekers that includes step-by-step instructions on using Me in 3, plus tips and tricks for creating an outstanding Profile. All instructional documents are available by submitting an email request to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will also be adding video tutorials to our website in the very near future.
You should and here’s why: It is better to direct potential employers to the social media accounts you want them to see than for them to go searching around the internet for them. Of course this is ultimately your decision, but employers are very likely looking anyway.
Visit the Search Jobs page of Me in 3. You can expand the search radius to see all active job postings on Me in 3.
The only tool required is a Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox web browser and a camera. No other equipment or downloads are necessary. Me in 3 will support other browsers in the future. You are able to use a camera on a laptop or upload your video from your phone.
The best way to create your video is really up to you. You can use your phone, computer, or any other recording device you have available. We have found there are some helpful tips to creating a clear and concise video. You can watch our tips and tricks video here:
Yes, you can. If it was for a specific employer, you may want to create a new, more general video. In the future, we will add features that support multiple profiles.
Yes, you can share your Me in 3 profile anywhere you’d like. You can even add your profile link to your resume! On the My Profile page, look for the Share symbol in the upper right hand side, directly above your video. There you can choose to share it to a social media account, via email, or copy the link to your clipboard to be shared anywhere, including the header or footer of your resume. See how to do it here:
When you share your Me in 3 profile, it will include your resume and skills summaries in addition to your video introduction.

Me in 3 was born from our own experience with the traditional hiring process. We realized after many years that hiring simply wasn’t personal and often felt like a chore. Sure, people would look and sound great on paper, but then they would come in to interview and be the exact opposite of the candidate type we were seeking. This cost our respective companies time and money - and it was simply inhumane! On the flipside, our gut told us that we were probably passing on awesome candidates that simply didn’t have a great resume. We wanted to see personality in addition to their work experience and skills. We launched Me in 3 to bring personality back to the hiring process and break the chains of traditional applicant screening so that employers could hire the RIGHT person faster.

Me in 3 is designed to be a prescreening tool. Ideally, the applicant’s Profile video replaces the traditional cover letter. Typically, companies don’t ask specific questions for a cover letter. Your company may, and if that is the case, you will want to include the questions in your Job Description or, if you are emailing an applicant, include the questions in the email.
Applying for a Job on Me in 3 is easy. Applicants will be able to follow the link that you added to your existing job advertisements or emailed. They will be prompted to sign up for an account and create a Me in 3 profile that includes a video cover letter. Once they complete the profile, they will be taken to your Job. At the bottom of the page there is a drop down menu that prompts them to select their profile. Once they click apply, they are done!
You will receive an email notification at the email address you provided during account creation. The email will include the new applicant’s name. You can click the link in the email to be taken directly to your Me in 3 Postings page where you can view the new applicant’s profile.
Yes! You can create as many Postings for one job as you need. Postings are based on zip code. If you’re looking for an Account Executive in Tulsa and Stillwater, you can make an individual Posting using the zip code for each location.
Me in 3 gives you several options to share your Posting. From the Postings page on Me in 3, you will see a table with all of your current active Postings. Look for the “Share” column on that table. From here, you can share your Posting to Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn by clicking on their respective icons. Additionally, you can click the envelope icon to email the Posting link directly. Last but certainly not least, you can click the copy icon to copy the link to your clipboard. You may then insert the link wherever you need to do so. See how here:
In the very near future, employers will be able to create a profile similar to the applicant’s Me in 3 profile that will include space for a video and additional information about the company.
